Karumba

Well as you can see from the picture , I decided to ride to Karumba, the road there was very much the same as the proceeding road straight narrow and flat with a reasonable road surface.

There is not much at Karumba, it's a small fishing town so consequently there is not much to do there. However It was a good rest day and  I managed to eat lots of prawns and drink some beer.

The next morning I drove on to Croydon and I decided to have a early day today, so at 130pm I checked into the local pub.

I was very surprised to be greeted by an English accent, the two barmaids are visiting English backpackers they were lovely girls and what an experience for them working in an old school genuine Aussie outback pub. The pub is very old with  huge high ceilings and cement floors so no modern city pub this one, plenty of character and plenty of toothless locals.

I am heading off to Artherton this morning I might make it all the way there today, so I will chat with you all later
